Hi guys got the DFI expert .......was playing a game when it froze so i reset now it wont post past 4 led's tried reseting cmos and removing battery but no joy, anythoughts???

Longshot, but try old hold powerbutton in for 10secs. Otherwise make sure all is correctly seated.

Strange got to boot screen after reseting bios and leaving the battery out for 30 mins ....b4 i could get in to bios it reverted back to 4 led's and hung.

Overheat CPU protection or fan fail maybe? The fact that it started to post then witched off would suggest it could be, check all fans, CPU heatsink hasn't come adrift etc...

Head over to DFI Street and have a look around there. Chances are someone has had the same problem, if not start a new thread on it (read the faq first) and you'll get a nice bit of help no doubt.
They have saved me twice with the DFI experience (once they work there great though!)

Its phase cooled so cant be heat related prob wont boot till -10 ....
