mobo is as in sig, the k7 gaming and on bios F31 (bios update thing stopped working, and further updates seem to be only based on supporting newer cpu which i dont have)

so, when i manually tell it in the bios to use the xmp profile to run at 3000mhz it boots, runs fine. however within a handfull of boots (one per day turn of at night, on in morning) it will reeboot itself and slap the ram back to 2133. Its kinda annoying. Ram is the teamgroup stuff and runs totally fine when its booted at 3000mhz but eventually, it will not boot up, reboot itself and then boot up at 2133.

Any solutions to this?

Thats what happens when you have an unstable overclock. Try setting the RAM timings and speed manually, also try a step lower on the speed too, see if that helps.

Ryzen 1xxx and 2xxx are notoriously difficult with higher speed RAM.

Thats the thing, once its running its rock solid it just seems to be the boot cycle thats an issue. would maybe adding a little more voltage to the ram help? or is it the cpu thaths the problem?
