Was messing with an older pc i have, mobo = asrock with 754 sckt, amd sempron 3400e and 1.5gb ram and a radeon 2900XT and 850watt psu

i also had a pci wireless card in and when i booted it with the radeon in i accidently pulled the pci wireless card out, pc freezes and crashes, wont boot anymore, tried without ram sticks and card, no post sound, heatsink off cpu, creates no heat at all, have i screwed motherboard and whats a really cheap replacement for it if i have? XD tia jamie

mobo has no lights on it, and by messing, its a kinda "frankenstein" system i have been overclocking and upgrading just as a side project

I still think its my motherboard, it wont even post after a full cmos reset with only 1 ram stick in, could knocking out a card whilst in use fry it?

Yeah both are connected, but they are fitted in a strange way, the psu is designed for modern mobo's, the atx power is 20 pin and the cpu is a 4 pin, the adapters on psu are 24 and 8, but i slotted them over with some overhanging and that was working fine before i knocked the card out, and yeah i have a speaker, just attached it :)
