Mobo settings that can cause graphics corruption

I have an ASUS M4A79XTD EVO motherboard and a new MSi Twin Frozr II 6950. In some games I'm getting graphics corruption, similar to the corruption you get when VRAM is broken. The problem is, in one friends computer (intel) I dont get the problem, but on my other friends(amd), with the same motherboard, its exactly the same.

We both have the motherboard on default settings, is anyone aware of any settings that can cause graphics corruption?

Just a wild guess but is there a option to disable onboard graphics

Are you getting your drivers for the card from the MSI web-site? If not that could be why

Had the same board, turned out to be a DOA case. I got corruption occasionally in ATiTool and random BSoDs/blackscreens.

Known others have the same issue, think it's just a dodgy board.
