Hi guys,

Bit of a newbie here when it comes I SSDs and SATA connections.*

Quick question

I want a SSD for my OS and few games.*

My mobo is an
ASUS® M4N98TD EVO: DDR3, 2-Way SLI, SATA 3.0GB/s

HDDs are*750GB SERIAL ATA 3-Gb/s HARD DRIVE WITH 16MB CACHE (7,200rpm) x2 for Installing other stuff.*

Which SSD has the same type of connection I can use that will work with my Motherboard please?

Are these ok

The OCZ AGT3-25SAT3-120G Agility 3 120GB SATA III 2.5 inch SSD

Or

SATA 6.0 Gb/s Crucial CT128M4SSD2 128GB M4 SSD

Does the sata 3gbs mean SATA III?

Sorry for being a noob.*

Thanks.*

Edit. Links removed. Sorry bout competitor links. Been a while since I've been here

You better remove those competitor links before the mods see it. Any Ssd will work but with your motherboard but being sata 3 gb/s it will not be as fast as those with 6gbp/s but hardly noticeable anyway. Along as its a Sata connection wyou'll be good to go

Get rid of competitor links mate!
All SATA motherboards and drives are compatible
SATA II is 3GBPs, SATA III is 6GBPs, so look out for the differentiations!

Really sorry bout the links. They've been removed and thank you for the help. Appreciated.

Edit. Just to clarify. I can get the ocz Sata III and it will work fine but only up to sata II efficiency
