Mock The Week

Who ate my 'yoghurt'? There's only one way to find out...an AIDS test.

Love Frankie Boyle. :D I like Parsons, Howard and Dennis too.

Dara saying "lol epic fail" was hilarious on the last ep. :p

Frankie Boyle is someone that just has me in tears. He says the most unexpected things that you cant help but wonder where he gets it from.

I also like Hugh Dennis, he's quiet when they're sitting down but absolute class during the improvisation rounds.

Russell Howard I think is only funny for certain regions of the country. Personally 90% of the time I dont find him funny at all, probably more annoying, especially that shouting thing he does.

Andy Parsons can get samey, however he has had me in tears at times.

Russell Howard is a bit dull after you get used to him, however he does come up with some solid gold material for the stand up parts.

He's not great on the show, but his stand up is brilliant. I saw him last month and didn't stop laughing through his whole routine.

I love the show although been finding the latest series of 8 out of 10 cats (just finished) was funnier than the latest series of Mock The Week.

Frankie, Hugh and Dara are the best 3 IMO on the show.

I think Mock The Week is ****. It seems it has a very 'Staged' quality about it. So the jokes seem quite forced and the croud dont seem there fully in it...

Frankie Boyle is funny, some of the stuff he comes out with it is just:eek: I reckon he is a very disturbed man!

I like Parsons, his voice cracks me up.

I don't however like how people laugh before he starts talking every damn time though because he looks a bit wierd, the first few times it was "ahaha he looks funny" but then it got old.

I wish David Mitchell was in it more often, he's awesome.

I agree with the feel that it is quite forced, but some of it still can be funny. The women they put on it though are just dreadful, including Jo Brand who I think makes cancer look hilarious...

Frankie is the best by a long way IMO ;)

Does anybody else share my sentiment in thinking that Dara should have given the points to the other teams? :p I just watched the most recent episode on iPlayer and felt that he should have given the points the other way....

This is what annoys me about it. They've obviously thought of what they are going to say for the stand-up bit, but they play along like it's spontaneous, with two people stepping forward at the same time.

Love this show, always think its a brilliant laugh.

Hugh Dennis and Russell Howard are great on the standup parts of it and Frankie Boyle is one disturbed human being.

Yep, quite often..
Half the time, the team that get the answer right, don't actually get the points :p

Seems to be completely random which team get the points. I guess it could be because the show has a lot of it cut out (I think) and so some of the off-air stuff might have been really good.

To be honest, I think he does it just because he can, I mean who realy cares who wins at the end of the show? To be honest I usualy forget it's a "game show" until Dara mentions points.

I remember Dara saying on another show that they record the points giving thing twice, one for each team, as the recording goes on so long nobody knows who's won :D

Yeah, I suppose that makes sense. :p

EDIT: The :p wasn't supposed to denote sarcasm by the way. ;)

EDIT: Neither was the ;).

To be honest the points don't REALLY matter anyways.

The show is all just for a good laugh. The U.S version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? pretty much did the same thing regarding the points, although the original UK version was more serious about it.

Speaking of which, how I would love to see that show come back. I mean afterall, Mock The Week is by the same creators.
