Hi
I'm in the process of putting Cat6 around the house and preparing an area on the wall for an Openreach Modem and a new router. I would like to run a patch cable through the wall to link the Modem and router and wondered whether it was OK to use a Cat6a shielded patch cable for this.
How likely is it that FTTC or FTTP would exceed the capability of a 1 Gb/s cable at some point in the future?
