modem + Router = Slow ??

i notice if i just use my modem CS will run fast (getting like 6000 servers) if i attach ANY router to the modem i get about 800 servers at max !!!

also my utorrent only reaches about 40kb/s now i have not tried this without the router but am sure it should run faster with like 300 seeds on a torrent ??

any help ?

Could be your routers WAN to LAN throughput. It was on my old one.

Are you sure you have port forwarded the relevant ports, not sure about CS but utorrent will need ports forwarded in order to get max speeds for downloads.

yep av checked through the utorrent options that it is forwarded correctly...still running like 10kbs now...am pretty sure its my %$*@ ing ISP... what is WAN to LAN throughput sorry ?
