Modem/router with IP reservation...

Hi, can anyone suggest a make/model for the above so I can make reservations to mac addresses on printers connected to a workgroup?

Any half-decent router should. Narrow your search and download a manual or two and check.

Hi, thanks for your reply, you would have thought a 'half decent' modem router, not just a router, would be able to do, however my Linksys wag320n will not...

Speedtouch 780wl does, I reserve the same IP for my media centre.

Wireless is flaky though...

I use a cheap WRT54GL running the Tomato firmware to do this..

This is just a router, so a do use an old DG834N for modem duties (running DG Team firmware for tweakability)..

Hi, it does but I'm not asking for me as it is for work, and I don't need wireless either...
