I've just got the Gioteck real triggers so I hope they will make me feel better about using the DualShock 3.

Can I ask you guys something about the console versions though? There must be some kind of auto-aim right? Otherwise something as fast paced as Call of Duty would be impossible I would have thought...

Never understood the appeal of FPS games on consoles, too fiddly. Each to their own though.

Console versions do have a bit off auto-aim online. Not that noticeable, but it is there.

Well call of duty 4 and world at war looked exactly the same to me on PS3 and 360 so i can see modern warfare 2 being the same , i will get it on PS3 because i have a few friends from work that hammered COD4 online and we are sure to do the same with this game .

The auto aim is very noticeable, You just let go of L1 and press it down again and it locks onto the nearest person, so you just keep mashing L1 and R1 to get a few kills when there are a couple of people stood relatively close to each other

360 clearly. The online on the PS3 is shocking. Party up with friends on the 360

There will probably be many people trying to tell you that the ps3 version will be trash and that PSN network is trash etc etc. Normally nonsense spouted by people who probably haven't tried it on the platform they are slagging off.

Just get the version that you have most friends on on the controller your most comfortable with.

As for which version will be better? I doubt there will be any discernable difference between them (anti-aliasing maybe?) fearing a backlash from fans

Like the last one this will have to be on the PC for me - most multiplat FPSs are...

Just not interested in auto-aim features of the console FPSs just to make a game playable/enjoyable...

I own both consoles but will get it on the PS3 as I prefer the DS3 (with triggers).

I have PC, 360 and PS3 but have already pre-ordered it for the bargain price of £23.95 on PC because when it comes to FPS the PC is king

It has triggers, but Gioteck make some trigger extenders which clip on the originals which feel more natural.
