I am officially done playing mw2 due to the amount of suspect players that now ruin the game for everyone. Every game I get into now, something dodgy is always going on.

For those that are not aware of the hacks in this game, heres proof they exist.

That's a bit drastic isn't it? games like Counterstrike have effective cheat detection methods and depending on where you play, you'll not notice anything.

Though, I'm not sure on any other online shooters, since I don't find any others fun :p
 
The fact that the texture hack still works is more than enough for me. And today, I joined a server were everyone was running around at 1000mph!

Now there's hack for the individual and hack for the "server" as a whole, and that goes way beyond crappy coding!
 
Me and my brother have added people we suspect of hacking not glitching to our friends lists. They always get banned, when he gets home from work I can ask him for you if you want and link you guys.

Point being of something like 300 games I have 200 wins. We play domination exclusively and even when we think someone is hacking we still win cos normally there is only one of them. We just stay in cover, try outsmart them and keep our flags. Sure they get helis ect but the moment we get killed by it we all spawn with our anti air secondary weapons and so they get instantly taken out.

I hate the fact that people are hacking ***** but what I am trying to say is if there is only one of them still your best to win (rage quit gives you a loss any ways) and then at the end of the game redo your lobby so you don't have to play with that guy again.

Obviously I can see how these **** can completely ruin team death match but there is no way in hell just one **** hacking on domination guarantees them win!
 
You can hack on the 360 version for sure, had a work experience lad in before xmas who was on about it. Couldnt see my point of view that it ruins the game like, but there we go.
 
Yikes, that's awful. CoD is such a great series too :(
Maybe they will patch it sometime soon?
Or maybe they are just going to take the money and run.

I gave up on shooters back in 2005 with the same words^. I found out a close mate of mine had access to a ton of hacks in CS and watched him play online. He never got banned at all and still plays CS to this day I think.
 
Not long to the BFBC2 beta any hows :p

I was not even going to buy MW2 but I swear to god it was Robert posting how we should "give it a go, its actually pretty good" ect that I ended up buying it!

I never play CS its got too much of a bad rep coupled with the worse anticheat know to man. I've played COD ever since 2003 I can honestly say i've only ever actually witnessed 2 or 3 cheating. In MW2 I see 2 or 3 in every damn map.

I suspect the latter. I'd pretty much put my house on them never releasing a dedicated patch, unless its clear that future sales would be effected. I can't see many buying another IW game on pc after this.

lol. That was the first 2-3 weeks of playing the game. I actually enjoyed it back then as it felt more balanced and fun. Now its just a constant wave of air strikes, helicopters, ac31's, stealth bombers, precision air strikes, nukes and hackers.

Its ****** up!

I don't think it's possibly to truly patch hacks though, they just make new ones.
Look at games like CS and DoD, they still have hacks after all these years.
