i'm gonna be making a couple of holes in my motherboard tray this weekend in order to do some decent cable managment. i've been advised to get a bit of rubber edge molding to cover round the holes to protect the cables, this can be had cheaply enough online, approx £1 per metre, however any sites i've found charge around 5 quid just to post a couple of metres of it standard royal mail  my principles/miserableness are telling me not to be held to ransom, so is there anything else i could use, maybe some duct tape or insulating tape to cover the edges maybe?

any thoughts?

i live in the 'sticks', and can't be arsed driving over an hour and back to hardware store for a couple of metres of rubber edging. even thought of cutting up an old wetsuit, i'm guessing a bit neoprene and superglue would be fine :p

thats what i was gonna do, but i can get about 2metres of the neoprene stuff off monkey puzzles place for little more than a fiver so just went with that for the aesthetics. ok, i know no one other than me will ever see :p!! lol
