Hi i have been banned from the members market , 8 months ago for thread bumping , 2 i never knew it was wrong to answer questions , but , i need to get it reinstated if i can , i have emailed several moderators , a few weeks ago but now reply ?
 
Yeah mos are pretty anal in MM. I'm banned too. I could understand if I ripped someone off, I just posted a few posts :-/
 
The rules in MM are clear enough, it is to maintain order of the threads etc.

They will keep your ban iirc.

We're "anal" for a reason. The MM is a very different environment so must be treated as such. The rules are very strict yes, but not without very good reason.

:edit: In reply to the OP, it is not wrong to answer questions. You clearly do not understand the reason why you were banned, that alone means you aren't the sort of person we want in the MM. Thread bumping is any post that is not answering a question directly or announcing a price drop. Adding items, notes or pictures with a new post counts as bumping.

Reason why I was banned. Pointless e-mail mods, don't reply. No e-mail giving warning prior either.

You think a life time ban is OK? Considering I do help, I at least expect to gain MM sometimes want to pick up stuff. I've sold stuff out of the forums anyway made no difference. Just spiting yourself tbh.

The MM rules state that there may be no warning, an instant suspension is the standard response. 3 strikes are given until it is deemed that the member has obviously no intention of reading the FAQ and abiding by the rules that it lays out.

:Edit: Badbob, you were not banned for "answering questions", you were banned for posting in a thread when not answering a question directly or making a price drop. It's very clear cut.

In fact, you posted "Can you take a picture of the camera, with the camera please?". QUite clearly a spam post which is entirely out of place within a selling environment.
