the other thing i like about the corsair modular psu's are the black wires for the 12v rail and sata. looks very sleek.

I went from none-modular to modular a week ago. It's great if you comprimise, but otherwise you stand a good chance of using more cables than before.

I'm running my HDD off a Molex-SATA power converter, so I can reduce the number of cables and keep my fans running.
