What is the best modular PSU for this set up, (Phenom 940, an ASUS M3A79T-Deluxe and 2 X 2Gb Crucial 1066 memory.), as my Antec PSU is playing up.
I am not bothered about the cost, but it most have a secondary 8 pin connector for the CPU.

that is what i just bought and i also bought the PSU that kenny has recommended....quality is second to none :)......you wont regret it
 
+1 got one myself its great very quiet and can put on what cables you need deffo buy one :)
