Also a new development.
Turns out JRC Autos was not a limited company at all.

I just got confused as the trader had a Ltd company called jrc contracting services. And I presumed they were trading under it. But according to my paper work it says simply "JRC autos" and no mention on being part of the other Ltd company.
Thus he was trading as a sole trader, which opens up ways to sue him directly.

so I shall be contacting the court to see what my next steps are. Be it they reissue the ccj or I reapply for one directly under the guys name and address which I have as he was a sole trader.

looks like he has actually started a proper limited company this time.

Is all this really over a grand? Srs? Chalk it up to experience man, it's not worth this complicated convoluted fight for a thousand quid!

It's not exactly complicated and tbh 1k may not be much to you but it's a decent wedge to me.

It's more about making a point to not let this scum get away with it.
 
It's £1000 man, principles are nice to keep and I'd want to pursue them too, but I'm unsure that this is now worth the effort
