Iam looking at buying a secondhand car from sombody in spain and she has asked me to make payment by useing moneygram.
I have never heard of this and dont know how safe it is and how it works.
She said that she will bring the car to the uk after i scan the recipt and e-mail it to her because she dosnt want to waste her time coming to the uk for nothing.
I keep saying that i will deffo have the car and i will pay her cash when we meet, but she keeps insisting that i do i through moneygram.

Wouldnt be wanting to chance that. You send her money then never hear from her again - no thanks. Only compromise would be a percentage up front but then agian I personally wouldnt.

To much potential for a scam here!!!

She said that she used to live in the uk and moved back to spain and its hard for her to drive a right hand drive car over there.
Thanks for putting me on the right track

It COULD be a true story, and shes 100% real. Maybe shes scared of being scammed hence why she wants payment up front.

However the spidy-sense says walk away. Unless its a very rare car you cannot ever find anywhere else of course :p
