Well worth it if you have a compatible LG monitor!

I already have the i1Display Pro but bought one of these LG ones just to take and use on my 34UM95!

Why did he say there is little difference? Did he compre the LG results to a delta chart ? For me when he switched between the two results I could see big differences in the picture. Anyway it would be good to get pcm2 and badass's review on the coloromiter.

But for £30 even if it is restricted to certain LG screens it does look like a terrific buy as it's quick and easy to calibrate your screen. The i1 display pro with third party software would cost way more than that.

Pretty sure Baddass is reviewing the 34UM95 at the moment and has both the LG calibrator and an i1Display Pro.

The gamma was severly lighter but... I'm curious when he calibrated with the i1D3. He calibrated during the day with the LG...

Still, it's gamma 2.2 for PC levels.

There will be a reason why this is so cheap. How accurate it is, how is the filter built... That and the fact you can use and profile a Spectro to the i1D3 for even closer results. As well as print profiling.

However, yes what you say is true. Quick and easy if you want to be in the ballpark. The question is, how accurate is it and usually the ones that aren't sealed drift within a year. Of course dependant on where it's been kept can either speed it up or slow it down.
