Monitor CPU temp

I usually use CPU-Z or openhardwaremonitor to check my CPU temp (and everest free edition) but none seem to be reading anything.

If I go into BIOS, I can read the temp no problem.

I have the overheating protection enabled and always leave it 10 or 5C under the cpu Tj max.

What's changed about your setup so they no longer work?
I am more likely now to just use the radeon software as I have it as part of the overlay when playing games, or fancontrol as I use it for fan/temperature control.

Made sure the apps are both up to date?

Also using CoreTemp with the highest core temp showing in the notification area.

Don't know if you can with NVIDIA or not but if you have an AMD GPU you can just use the AMD overlay.
