Hello,

I am struggling to make a decision over monitors, what do you think between these two? Mostly used for sim racing. Why should I not go for a 4K?

32GK850G-B 32" 2560X1440 VA G-SYNC 165HZ GAMING WIDESCREEN MONITOR £569.99

32GK850F 32" 2560X1440 VA FREESYNC 2 HDR 144HZ 1MS WIDESCREEN LED GAMING MONITOR £429.95

Is it worth spending extra money on the G-B do you think?

Thanks guys

What GPU are you running? Is it capable of pushing out 165 FPS at 1440p?

I have an RTX 2070 and i7 9700K. (Or will have when it arrives. :))

I see the one has Gsync. I have a suitable graphics card. Is it worth the extra or should I just aim for 4k because that'll be the way things will go as standard? Is 60Hz when gaming not good?

Thanks

In my opinion, that 850-F would be sufficient. Once you’ve experienced 144Hz (or more) in gaming, it’s difficult to go back to 60Hz; it’s a game changer.

I just bought the LG 32gk950f ultrawide and I love it! Ultrawide is so much more immersive. After VR I see ultrawide as the gamers choice moving forward
