I have an issue and I don't understand it! Very frustrating. I have a Samsung 2443 monitor, with a DVI connection to my PC with a GTX260 GPU. Recently I got a new 3m DVI cable, and I'm not 100% it's since then but it might be - but the screen flickers when my phone is connecting - making a call, text, email etc... - only when its close. It sometimes has thin black and white noisy lines, sometimes thicker green lines. Very odd. Any ideas?

I know you get interference with phones and speakers and such at the right power level, but I've never heard of this?

Any help is much appreciated.

It sound like you've found the answer to your own question really.

If it only happens when your phone is connecting then it looks like interference.

I don't know what make of DVI cable you bought but if it's a cheaper make then perhaps the shielding isn't all it's could be.

Try connecting with your old cable again and see if you get the same problem.

If the problem goes away it's interference on the new cable.

If the problem persists then there's some sort of interference with the monitor itself.
