Hi guys,

Just purchased a Macbook and looking to hook it up to a monitor.

Whats the best type to go for in terms of matching the macbooks resolution etc? I would like to go for a 22 or 24"!

Thanks!

Interesting... Cheers ;)

Will it display on a 50" TV?

It should do with ease. Monitors have a higher resolution (30" - 2600x1600) so a tv will most likely have a lower one (1080p - 1920x1080).

Simply put, it shouldn't be an issue at all, should it have the right connections available. :)

My macbook can't do 1920x1200 on my 24" Samsung 245B with the dvi adapter :(

Mine is a recent-but-one revision macbook and I'm running in 1200x1920 fine. Occasionally there are some brief graphical glitches on either screen if something opens/closes/refreshes. But it's pretty much perfect.
