I like using Flight Simulation and decided to install a second monitor that i have had for some time.
However i have the following issue.
After switching off the PC i connected the second monitor and encountered that although it is a 1920x1080 Nvidia Control panel was only seeing it as 1024x768 and no amount of messing around with settings would rectify it.
I switched off the PC and disconnected my main monitor then restarted it hoping i could then sort it but this time the monitor was not showing anything on screen. In the end i had to just connect it all up as it was before i fitted the additional monitor to get it working.
Tomorrow i will try a different HDMI cable just in case it is faulty. On my old computer this monitor was used as an additional monitor without issue.
FYI my main monitor is a G-Sync so is connected to a Display Port and both monitors are connected to the same 2080ti GPU.
So to clarify the additional monitor did work but not at its native resolution and now it does not work at all.
