Monitor help plz

I purchased a Asus 24'' VX248H LED for gaming for bf4 and it was totally horrid and my old LG flatron w2363d destroyed it in picture quality.

So i sent this back to the shop not oc,, and looking for one that when palying battlefield 3,4 will look good at least as good as my older flatron model.

I dont understand why the Asus looked so poor compaired to mine so im now confused as what to go for . Budget of around £150

I was recently looking at monitors, and generally looking to use for BF4, I ended up getting a G-sync monitor which is out of your budget range. Although if you can spend the little more.
