My Ancient Benq FP241 WZ 24" is showing signs of screen burn, to the point where it is now hurting my eyes.

I am after a replacement and have £200-250 max to spend.

In terms of what it is connected to/uses:

I have a 12 month old GIGABYTE P34w Laptop with 16 Gig Ram and a 250 gig ssd. The Graphics card is a Geforce 970M

My Desktop is almost as old as the Benq, and is really not worth worrying about (QX6850 extreme 8GB DDR 2 ATI 6870 XT... bla bla, nice when new but old now)

What delighted me about the benq is that it has numerous connections, I use S-video from my sky box for TV, HDMI from a PS3, DVI from my PC etc. If needs be I will buy a converter box and put everything through HDMI if I have to.

Anyway - I am not much of a gamer, my gear is too old ... but would like a decent allrounder if possible.

My current monitor sits on a desk in my living room, it is 24" - am looking for a decent 24- 27 Inch monitor. I did think about one of the 144hz gaming monitors, but my gear is probably too weak to do it justice, so I am going down the multipurpose route.

Any and all suggestions welcome

Just looked at my profile, my last post in here was 2008.... yikes!

Thanks
