Can anyone tell me if this looks like an issue with the innards of the monitor or would I have to be a replace the screen to fix it? It's not a huge issue as it's only really noticeable on white backgrounds but it's be nice to try and fix it.

Thanks.

Silly question but have you tried a different cable? I have (or had) a DVI cable that gave off green lines like that although they covered the entire screen.

i dont think that monitor will last much longer tbh.

what happens if you gently twist the screen does it go away or does it get worse?.

reason i ask as it could be a loose ribbon cable, i have a 47" samsung that i got from the skip about 2 years ago that only had a loose ribbon.....i fixed it and voila....a new telly for free.

thats the throw away culture we are in

No cable at all sure does seem like it could be the end of the road. Although depending on how comfortable you are with dismantling it you could do as Trisdov suggested and search for the ribbon cable. If it's for the skip anyway you've nothing to lose. At the very least you might learn something about monitor internals :)
