Monitor issue?

I'm experiencing issues with blacks. I get a lot of 'blocking' of the colour.

Hard to describe, but I hope the video clip below works.

I don't seem to notice it in games. I've taken a video of a paused video to hopefully show the affect.

Jays2cents videos show it up the worse, not sure why.

I've tried two different cables, I suspect it's the monitor. Can anyone confirm this, or guide me to further tests?

I'll try and get a better shot.

The monitor is an Electriq ultrawide. I thinks it's the eiq-34CMUWQ60GAFS.

I noticed it ever since picking this monitor up. I bought it second hand.

Thanks, playing with gamma and brightness has helped a lot.
