Monitor keeps blacking out

My montior has recently started to go into Standby mode whilst i'm gaming. My base unit it is still powered up

Once the monitor has went into stand by it wont go back on unless i reboot the system.

I'm sure its to do with insufficient power but i'm hoping someone will be able to shed some more light on this

nope everything is as it came
only happens in assassins creed 2 at full graphics
hasnt happened on anyother game or even when i'm working with multiple virtual machines and anything else that requires my system to be pushed in anyway

forgot to mention PSU is 600 watts
