Monitor keeps turning off itself

Hi,
I bought a monitor around 2 months ago, its a Samsung P2350, but now it just seems to be shutting down itself... when rebooting my pc or maximizing a game. Its hooked upto a 5870 using DVi....

It's bought from Overclockers i don't know how they can assist me, but any assistance would be appreciated

Call me crazy... but have you tried calling them to explai the fault and seeing about getting it exchanged?

Hmmmm.. strange i think its sorted, i reset the cmos and unplugged the monitor for 5 mins.. now i have no problems with it.. so far!

Let me know if you have any more trouble. I've had a lot of experience with Samsung's TOC series and have also come across this issue. It can be caused by the DVI cable not being plugged in quite tightly enough but can also be caused by a plethora of issues related to the touch-sensitive OSD controls overloading the monitor with too much feedback.
