Hi all
I am looking to get a new monitor in the next few weeks (just waiting for my bonus to come through)
So pc specs,
CPU: 6700k @4.6
Ram: 16gb trident z
Mobo: ga-z170x-gaming g1
GPU: 2x r9 290x
Power: evga p2 1200w (+ private nuclear power plant for the 2 GPUs)
Cooling: custom loop ( keeps the entire house warm saving on heating bills)
Ok, I currently have a dual monitor setup the main one is a aoc 1920x1080 144hz and the second is pants but I use it for work.
I have come up with some desirables as below.
1. Refresh rate of 100hz min
2. Larger screen size (i couldn't fit 2 monitors if i had a 27" on my desk hence looking at ultra wide)
3. Freesync
4. Price under £550
5. Better colour reproduction
6. Not too much of a compromise on input lag
7. Curved
The main use of my machine is gaming following by 3D CAD and design work. I don't game online much and mainly play strategy or FPS games + stuff like mass effect.
Does anyone have any suggestions for the best setup for my monitors?
Thanks
Matt
