Today i was just at home using my pc for 3D CAD which is what i do for work when the screen flickered off and back on a bit, but returned with an odd issue. the attached image shows part of the screen but the whole monitor had the same effect.
The mouse still moved and everything was interactive but the image is clearly messed up. I use DP to connect video card to monitor so i unplugged, thinking it might be the cable, and switched to HDMI, changing the input via OSD too. At this point the screen was plain black and nothing appeared. Power cycling the monitor had no effect.
I restarted the PC and the hdmi worked fine, i switched back to DP and everything works again. Clearly, however, something is not right here...
