I went for dinner and when I came back, I noticed my screens brightness was unstable, it would dim/brighten ever so slightly, nothing major, but I noticed it.

I took out the cable at the back of the pc and plugged it back in as I thought it might be in correctly and now my monitor wont work.

If I press the power on the monitor to off and then on, I get a display for a second then nothing again.

I guess the monitor has packed in?

Can you try the system hooked up to a tv/other monitor? Should help confirm that the gpu is ok.

Tried the monitor on my dads computer, same thing. The monitor would show a display for a second and go to a black screen. Something went faulty within the monitor :(

I guess I gotta try find a 2nd hand one or use this tiny one I have spare, daaaaaaamnit.

Would you guys play on a 32" tv with a max resolution of 1360 x 768 (wtf?) or a crappy 17" monitor with a max resolution of (I have no idea)? It'll be a temporary solution

Lol, I logged into an old hotmail account where I placed an order for this monitor a few years ago and I had an e-mail there from a competitor which was sent earlier today for a deal on a 24" monitor for £85...

Idk what to do!

2 year warranty and I bought it on the 13th December 2010. Grr. I paid £155 for it.

Okay, ideally I want one on sale for ~£100. 24" and hopefully better than above? Do you think that's reasonable or is that a really low budget?
