Monitor or graphics card??

Last few days I've started noticing that both my screens have a pink tinge that gets more noticeable as further up the screen. I'm not sure why I've never noticed it before and it seems odd that it would develope on both at the same time (different brands and different ages). If it was my graphics card I would have though it would be more of an all over thing. What do you guys think?

It's probably the monitors, just don't get why I'm finding it so obvious all of a sudden. Wish I could afford some IPS panels.

What kind of work/play do you do on them? I very much doubt it is a monitor problem if the same problem 'suddenly developed on both of them' given that they are different ages and models. You should plug them in one at a time and see if the same occurs and also check them on another system.

Sounds to me like the lead isn't plugged in properly.

If both the cables were knocked to the same side a bit, (perhaps some knocked/moved your PC?) then that might be the cause.

Try waggling the cables a bit, and remove/re-insert em.

and also i agree with what PCM2 says :D

I think it's just the crappy TN panels, if I sit to the left a bit more its not as bad. maybe I've rotated the screen or something recently that made it more obvious? Or maybe my eyes just started working right all of a sudden :p

I assume you must have installed catalyst 10.10 drivers because there is a known bug that introduces a pink tinge. This sounds suspiciously like it,given you`ve only just noticed it.Im sure theres a thread on here about it or it may have been in the GURU3D.com forums.Do a search on either site i`m sure you`ll find something ;)

Reset the colour temp

open ccc click on graphics/desktop display . right click the little montor at the bottom and click configure then click the colour tab

Reset the colour temp

open ccc click on graphics/desktop display . right click the little montor at the bottom and click configure then click the colour tab
