Thanks for the photos! How much did that cost? For the money I might go for the 24" Samsung, it can display 1080p and will look pretty clear used with my PC.

You can get the Samsung LE26R86 for £399, at 10-15ft you can't resolve 1080p on a 50" screen, nevermind a 26" one. :p

Is that a TV or a monitor? Only reason I'm looking at the 24" samsung monitor is cus of the resolution, 1920x1200.

Tv, the 32" R74 costs £450, and the R86 £480.

Hmm, i'm a bit unsure on the resolution, at least with the 24" I can play games and read / type comfortably up close - and see it ok. I'll take a look at the TV's though, I did like the look of Cooper's Acer - but I'm wondering how it will be with FPS like CS Source and photoshop work. Plus it will only be able to do 720p? The 24" Samsung will b able to do 1080p.

A 1366x768 set is a bit too resolution, for text it's fine, but for physical workspace you just don't get enough

For gaming a 1366x768 set is great, it means you don't need a high end PC (unlike a 1920x1080 screen) It'll display 720, however 720 is lower than native so it'll need to be scaled upto the panels resolution.

I had a 32" 1366x768 for a couple of weeks, and 42" 1920x1080, and 40" 1920x1080 screens. The 1080p screens offer higher resolution (better for windows, gaming and PS) if your PC can handle it. I had no such problems (sig machine) Oblivion at 1920x1080 with no AA was perfectly playable outside.

Well the only games I play on PC are FPS - CS Source and MOH:AA... maybe COD2 if I buy it - but all of those run fine currently on my system at high - with a 1600x1200 resolution. I'll just have to drop the graphics a little bit if it suffers.
