So, my friend and I bought computers at exactly the same time, from ocuk of course.
Roughly 1 year and 1 month later, we both started having the same problems. Now the problems we're having are exactly the same issue and with in a short space of each other.
Our systems are almost identical, except for the motherboard and graphics card. My friend had this problem around 2 weeks ago and never solved the issue, however, I formatted from Windows 7 back to XP(solved a game crash problem) And now I'm having the exact same problem.
Now the problem that we're experiencing is, when ever the monitor and PC is turned off for a duration of time, say 20minutes or more. The monitor refuses to turn off. The PC's boot up fine, I can hear windows starting up through my headphones.
If this does turn out to be a monitor problem, I'm just wondering what my guarantee is on the monitors, I'm unsure whether it's 1 or 3 years. The monitors are Samsung Syncmaster 2053BW, so if anyone knows what the guarantee is that would be appreciated, aswell as solving the issue =] Thanks/
