Monitor problems

Hi

I am trying to connect my monitor to my computer. I have installed different drivers etc but still no luck.

It is not displaying my resolution in the menu and listed as Generic Pnp monitor.

Make and model of monitor?

Make and model of GPU or onboard graphics?

The type of connection you're using - DVI, HDMI, VGA, DisplayPort?

It's onboard graphics of an Asus M4N68T-M motherboard
It's BenQ G2220HD
