Monitor Problems

Hello
I have just bought the AOC G2460PF monitor and have it connected up to my gaming PC. It is connected via DVI to my graphics card which is a Nvidia 1070.
the problem i have is that when i select the monitor to display in 144hz, the screen has a Green overlay and continues to do this until i change it back to 60hz

any suggestions will be appreciated

I think you need to use display port for 144hz?

I have been told that DVI can run 144hz and from research it can handle it?

Can you try running with a dp cable?

I do think that could be your issue.

Unfortunately i only have a DVI cable, the screen has a full green tint to it compleatly covering it.

Not sure if DualLink DVI (with proper cable) can do it at 1080p but TBH you should be using DP.

I do have my second monitor that can only handle 60hz connected, this one is connected by HDMI, is this a problem?
and i will purchase a Display Port cable and try it with that.

"To output 1080p at 120Hz or 144Hz, you need a dual link DVI-D or DisplayPort cable and connect those to your monitor and computer. These standards include support for higher resolutions and refresh rates. HDMI 1.3 or higher can also be used to output 1080p content at 144Hz"

hello everyone. I am new on hear and I would like some advice. I have just got a acer predator gn246hl. I'm having problems with setting the monitor to wide screen. the monitor on screen settings go off to quick to read any thing. plus it only lets me scroll through but cant find the enter button. thanks jon
