Monitor question + Spec me

Are LCDs affected by being near speakers that aren't magnetically shielded? I'm guessing not because they work totally different to CRTs....

Looking at getting a new monitor. Can't decide between a 22" Samsung Pebble and maybe a 24" but i've got no idea about what model to get.

I do play games (although i'm not an avid gamer). I mostly use this PC for browsing, development stuff etc.

Any ideas?

How do they compare to a 22" Pebble quality and colour wise? I've heard nothing but pretty amazing reviews about them.

Doesn't matter whether your speakers are shielded with an LCD btw. What sort of budget were you thinking of?

Yeah I did some googling and found that out, I didn't think it would but I just wanted to be certain.

24" is fine to be in front of as long as youve got a metre or so between you and the screen I find.
