Monitor Recommendation for Web Developer

So I need a new monitor -

Primarily I'm a Web Developer, and generally stay away from any kind of graphical design - so whilst ultimate colour accuracy would be nice, it is by no means top of the criteria list.

I'm in front of this monitor up to 10 hours a day, so anything that may help save my eyes would be good, although, I've no idea if anything is particularly better in this respect.

Screen real-estate is important to me - I currently use a 22" at 1680x1050, and struggle.

I doubt there is much variation in most monitors, but sharp, easy to read text is probably most important.

It would be nice if its aesthetically pleasing as well, although, again, this isn't 100% essential.

With an imminent purchase of a 13" Macbook Pro for my dev work, the Apple Cinema 24" is currently topping the list, but any other suggestions that may be cheaper would be greatly appreciated.

I'll be following this one as I'm after a similar setup at the mo, ideally a couple of monitors for code / tool windows and the other for the running app / site.

I've got 19" TFT and a 15" TFT at the mo that aren't hooked up so I'm thinking about getting 2* 20"+ monitors and two cheapo DVI gfx cards to run 4 monitors, using the 20+ monitors for dev work and the others for email, tool windows, twitter etc etc

Well the current considerations seem to be:

At the top end:
Apple Cinema 24" (£500 Refurb)
Dell U2410 (£430)

But I'm starting to wonder whether a TF panel wouldn't be all that unacceptable for my uses, seeing as I don't really do any colour important tasks, and I sit dead in front of my monitor. At which point, the following come into the equation;

Dell G2410 (£230)
LG W2486L (£260)

But they are both 16:9, which is a bit annoying.

The Samsung T240HD seems to be in the middle of them all at £300 and 16:10, but I was kind of hoping for something LED backlit.

The 2410 is looking like the winner, coming from a cheap GNR TW2200, I think this panel is going to look amazing to me.

The only thing that concerns me is that if I ever end up with a dual monitor setup, than an IPS panel may be a better option for the viewing angles?

Thoughts?

dont worry about angles on a dual setup you wont notice them

im a developer to and have my eyes on

specifically wanted 1920x1200 and for the price these seem ace

not being to bothered about colour reproduction i havnt exactly looked into it as mostly i'll be using SQL + VS which is obviously just black/blue text on a white background

currently i'm using a pair of AGneovo's that do the job and are cheap and i have also just invested in a four monitor mount to look after them all
