Monitor recommendations for a 9070xt

I just built a new system and looking for a monitor under 1k mainly for singleplayer gaming.

I've been told to look at the MSI MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 but I don't know much about ultrawide, is it a good idea?

Most new games really,
I've recently built a system with a 9850X3D and 9070 XT, so I'd like to make the most of it.

Ideally I'd like something immersive with excellent picture quality, rather than prioritising competitive gaming.

I have the older model alienware and have nothing but praise for it. 3440x1440 OLED

Widescreen is really immersive.

In your position I'd be buying that monitor that was recommended to you, i've got the "same" MSI from 2 years ago and it's been brilliant.

Are you a FPS gamer or a sim gamer? Because if you're the latter - driving sims, space sims, flight sims - then you may prefer an ultrawide monitor over a standard 16:9 monitor.

AW3426DW if you fancy 34" 21:9

Both of these are easily within budget
