Hi guys,
I built my own PC towards the end of last year and a couple of months after building it my monitor display suddenly had a red tinge to it. I looked around on the internet to find solutions and eventually hoped that it was simply some faulty wiring in the VGA cable I was using since it was an old scavenged one. I eventually got used to the tinge but today decided to buy a decent new VGA cable. Unfortunately i still get the red tinge. I am wondering if it is the connector on the display. I don't believe it is something wrong in the workings of my TV because I have a 360 connected to the DVI socket and that has no tinge.
Could it be my graphics card? It is a new one I bought just at the end of last year. I can't remember the exact model but i can find out if necessary.
If it is the graphics card should I request a replacement on overclockers or go straight to the manufacturer?
Thanks guys
Bob
