Right, Little update on the way things are going as spent the weekend on and off looking at monitors.
I am now leaning towards this monitor.
My basket at OcUK:
Reason being is my desk is only 60cm deep and I cannot sit back far enough for a 34" screen so I have reduced my searches to 27" monitors.
Looking at the 27" range from MSI the 271qp has a gen 3 QD OLED screen, also gets brighter and reviewed better than the newer models (274QP and 272QPW). I didn't bother with the 271QR as this is £600 and 500hz which I would never use\reach so would have been a waste paying more for the extra 220hz the monitor could do over the 280hz. (Even 280hz is overkill but most QD-OLEDs are either 240hz or 280hz). I tried to go for a newer gen QD-OLED panel as well to try and reduce any issues with text clarity and wanted to stick to the 1440P screen ress as well.
Yeah, Looking at reviews they mention either low power USB C ports, not 1 at all, 2.0 HDMI instead of 2.1 and the same with DP not being 1.4 or just no KVM built in at all on some. The only thing I wanted to make sure the monitor had was 2.1\1.4 for HDMI and DP as I very rarely change monitors etc.
