Hey all,

Does anyone have a list of what sized monitors can run what sized resolutions?

I hope that made sense :p

Thanks,
Marky

15" 4:3 - 1024x768

15" 16:10 - 1280x800

17" 4:3 - 1280x1024

17" 16:10 - 1280x800

19" 4:3 - 1280x1024

19" 16:10 - 1440 x 900

etc.? Or do you want a full list of every resolution each will run?

Any resolutions below the max can probably be forced in the drivers, down to 640x480.

Really im looking for 19" upwards :)
Reason is, I currently have a 19" monitor and am looking to see which size I'd like - therefore I feel it would be handy to see what resolutions each size can take.

17" 1280x768 (15:9) screens exist, although they don't seem prevalent...Google it, I can't link you to one from this forum.

I used to have a 1280x768 17'' Widescreen...it was a Dell LCD tv..I think I still have a pic of it back when I was in America.

Indeed, here it is....the mess is because I was drunkenly packing for the move.

Baddass also wrong on the 17"WS, i'm surprised.

there's quite a few 17"WS which are 1280 x 768 :) but yeah, someone already suggested there is 1440 x 900 too

TECHNICALLY, there are also 22"Ws with 1920 x 1200, and 22" models with 1440 x 900, but we wont get picky on them :)
