Monitor stand for 2 monitors, 1 facing forward and one back

As title really, need one to be facing me and the second to be facing the person sitting opposite me. Ideally on a pole screwed to the desk and in white if possible?

Could have sworn there was a thread to do with something exactly like this in the monitor forums last week, I'll have a hunt around and try and find it :)
 
I did have a quick check and was in 2 minds as to where to post this topic but general hardware won in the end...
 
Thanks but thats not what Im looking for. Ive seen it before in a few shops, Lakeland homeware being one. Baically a pole with one monitor facing the cashier and one facing the customer. They both sit back to back and are completely fixed.
 
Thats exactly what Im looking for but $300?? Blimey didnt think it would come in anywhere near that price!!
 
They are rather expensive I must admit. If you're a dab hand at basic metal works it should be fairly easy to construct one if you can plan out designs :)
 
Thats exactly what I was thinking, length of scaffold with some brackets and bobs your uncle for a lot less that $300!! Will speak to the metal work guy round the corner I think.
 
Pfff, just stick em with some glue, will do :-).

Why the heck would you need them to be solid fixed anyways?
It's not like anyone is gonna take it away and run off with it ?
 
Its for a shop display, doesnt have to be fixed but doesnt need to move either so thought a fixed option would be cheaper due to less parts?
 
I'd just tape em or secure with some copper wire or cable ties tbh...
But then I'm a cheap hoe and would never spend any cash on a stand...

Having a short look at mydell monitor, it looks like the back of the stand is flat so in my case I could just put them next to each other and stick together with a piece of *insert random bit of metal*.

Would be easier to say if we had a pic of the monitors : )
 
I havent bought the monitors yet but I dont really want 2 stands back to back and ideally want them mounted higher up a bit as peolpe will be standing at the counter.
 
On a related note, what threads are in the back of a monitor?

Cancel my last, they're M4. Might try bolting some together myself.
