Hi,
I need some help finding a monitor which windows auto detects when it is powered off and disconnects it as a display. I have an Acer S240HL made in 2011 and a 37" Panasonic TV which both disconnect (make a USB removed sound) when they are powered off. However I have brought 2 more of the S240HL made in 2013/2014 and they remain connected as a display in windows even when the power cord is removed from the monitor. The newer displays will only disconnect when the display cable is removed from either the GPU or monitor
I have tried a number of cable and connections with no luck. I also brought a 24" Samsung monitor however this also remains connected when powered off as well.
Using Windows 7 ultimate SP1 with a homebuilt PC when has a GTX1070 Amp Edition GPU.
Thanks in advance!
