Monitor/unknown problem. Pretty urgent!

So do you have one?
 
I have one of those blue adapters that comes from my monitor and plugs in to a small blue connector on my back-plate. I currently do not have any type of adapter that will connect to the the graphics card (below the back-plate). The adapter you posted the image of has 15 pins and can only connect to the back-plate to the monitor, the GFX red connector has 24 pins.
 
Do you understand that to use the GFX card you must connect the monitor into it?

If you plug the monitor into the motherboard and the GFX card is still fitted then the onboard display of the motherboard is disabled.


Does your monitor have a DVI or HDMI input? if so, go and buy a DVI or HDMI cable and connect the monitor to the GFX card.

If the monitor is VGA/Dsub (the small blue one) only, then get a DVI to Vga adapter like in that picture.
