Hi,

Looking to upgrade my current monitor - a BenQ BL2700HT 27" 1080p VA panel.

I mostly use it for web browsing, light office work, and gaming.

Games include: Cities Skylines, Total War, FSX, Eve Online, Fallout 4, Wolfenstein, a little bit of CS:GO.

I'm looking at the following:

AOC Q3279VWF 32" 1440p VA 75Hz
Asus PB277Q 27" 1440p TN 75Hz

I've gotten used to 1080p at 27" (same size monitor at work) so I'm leaning towards the 32" rather than 27". I think I would be disappointed with the TN panel too after years of IPS (Miss my BenQ FP241W :()/VA.

Budget is... as little as possible. I reckon I could get £100 selling my current one so say £250 max?

My current PC spec is Core i5 4670K, 16GB RAM, GTX 970 but I may be upgrading in the near future to something with a GTX1070 or similar so I'm guessing at 1440p, 144Hz still wouldn't be appropriate as I'm not the kind to want to turn all settings to low just for FPS. Or should I spend more for something with Gsync like the LG 32GK850G (no intention of switching to AMD any time soon)?

Thanks,
