Monitor with PS3 compatibility

Im looking for a decent monitor with at least 1650x1080 resolution which can be hooked up with a ps3. I have a standard HDMI cable as well as a DVI-HDMI cable so a monitor with HDMI input is preferable but not a requirement.

Not looking to spend a lot but something with good all-round performance at a reasonable price would be perfect.

Please advise as necessary.

Any idea on budget at all? Hard to recommend something without one really.

What about screen size?

anything between £100-£150 would be great. Screen size, 21+ inches.

get a 24 inch samsung that is 1080p then just use hdmi to dvi

Remember to use it with a PS3 you really need a HDCP compatible monitor.

Something like the Dell ST2310 23" Monitor should suit you well. 1920 x 1080 resolution, HDCP support, has a HDMI port and costs £169.

Does anybody currently use their ps3 on a 1680x1050 native res monitor? I hear conflicting reports about how successful this is. Things like edges of the picture missing or it not working at all etc. Additionally has anyone any experience of getting a ps3 to work on a 120Hz hdcp screen like the Samsung 2233rz, I guess it should work but would use whatever refresh rate the ps3 puts out at what ever res is uses.
