Monitor wobble

Hi All,

So I've recently moved from a 19" to a 24". When I accidently jog my desk the monitor wobbles quite wildly. Has anyone else experienced this with large monitors and/or could suggest a solution short of getting a more robust desk.

Thanks,
Chris.

Buy a monitor with a decent stand. My Samsung 2433bw was terrible for wobbling around on my desk (even when i moved the mouse it would wobble a bit) Now i have a dell with a decent stand its fine.

Wall mount it. No wobble then!

That's exactly the monitor I have. Problem is I don't really have the cash (or inclination) to buy a new monitor right now.

Any other suggestions?

Is that some sort of animal tape? Could try duct tape

I would suggest trying to wall mount it. I would have done that with mine, the stand is (was) gash

I wondered if anyone would try and go the duct route. There was a thread ages ago where a mud-flinging match started on it :)
I prefer duck 'cos they taste quite nice :D

Go for it - no longer an issue as I asked for the monitor to be refunded in RMA rather than replaced. Enjoy the debate on sin tax [sic].

I have a Samsung 2233rz and it also wobbles. Though curiously it only does it when I am looking at websites of Keeley Hazel. When I am looking at the the BBC news page it is rock solid. I am at a loss to explain this behaviour.
