What is the best price point monitor for performance .... just looking to see if it's worth getting a new one

So many variables, what size? what usage?

Gaming mostly and around 80-150 i guess

The 24" 1920x1080 monitors seem to be the best priced at the moment, if it's almost exclusively for gaming then the TN panels should be fine.

This samsung seems to get good feedback on here:

Hmm, if you really can't stretch to the £160 for a 24" like:

the benq looks good but never really seen the brand metioned anywhere other that here ... are they good?

They are a large brand and generally good quality, I haven't ever used their RMA or customer service so I can't comment on that part though.

Without a doubt the samsung 2333T.
super cheap cPVA panel, 4000:1 contrast ratio (as opposed to the nearly ubiquitous <1000:1 contrast ratios among IPS and TN panels found everywhere)
